God Hears Himself: Step into God's Culture

It is only the Spirit of God that can search out the deep things of God. God knows what is of God within you. God promotes what He finds of Himself within His children. God blesses what He finds of Himself within His children. Many people come to me when they are going through difficult circumstances and say, “I just don’t understand why this is happening to me.” My response is almost always the same: Are they doing things God’s way or their own? What is their motive? God cannot promote and bless what is not of God. However, the scripture does not say that He is searching to see what is wrong with His Children. No. God is going to and fro over the face of the earth looking for a heart like God’s. That is, God is looking for God, and when He finds the smallest manifestation of His nature and character, that is what He is truly interested in.

We are so excited about the new release of Apostolic Revivalist Warren Hunter's latest book. As Volume 2 in the God Working With God series, this book will show you that true spiritual worship and supernatural fellowship with God can be a normal way of life. The most powerful worship happens when His Spirit within you touches Himself. God is looking for His Spirit dwelling inside you to minister to His own heart. As you give God's love back to Him in worship, your spirit will be renewed, strengthened, emboldened, and encouranged. You will learn how to worship God in Spirit and in Truth and that God really does inhabit the praises of His people.

God Hears Himself: Step into God's Culture

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes the deep things of God.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Each person has been immersed in a specific culture for the entirety of his or her life. This is the screen through which they process everything. But remember, Jesus had to give up His culture of being an unlimited, omnipotent, omnipresent God in order to become a human and die on the cross. In order to fulfill the Word of God, Jesus had to limit Himself. He had to do something that was completely against the nature and character of God: He had to die. The same is true with us. We must die to the comfortable specific cultures which we have known forever to enter into the culture and environment of the Spirit of God. Some of us have known poverty all of our lives. However, God does not live in poverty. He is rich, abundant, and always has more than enough. Poverty may have become comfortable for some because it is all that they have ever known. Changing is the difficult thing. However, if we want to truly be like Christ, if we want to dwell in God and hear God’s voice, we must change. If a person grew up with abuse or a father who was an alcoholic, that person’s concept of God, of him or herself, and of others is based on those struggles. That concept was not formed in God; God wants to forever alter what we know and accept as normal. Through the avenue of the Spirit, God wants to teach you to think like Him, talk like Him, and act just like Him. God loves it when His children sound and look just like Him. This is when He can freely respond to us. When God hears Himself, there is no longer anything that holds God back from blessing, promoting, honoring, and touching His children.
