God Hears Himself: Step into God's Culture

   It is only the Spirit of God that can search out the deep things of God. God knows what is of God within you. God promotes what He finds of Himself within His children. God blesses what He finds of Himself within His children. Many people come to me when they are going through difficult circumstances and say, “I just don’t understand why this is happening to me.” My response is almost always the same: Are they doing things God’s way or their own? What is their motive? God cannot promote and bless what is not of God. However, the scripture does not say that He is searching to see what is wrong with His Children. No. God is going to and fro over the face of the earth looking for a heart like God’s. That is, God is looking for God, and when He finds the smallest manifestation of His nature and character, that is what He is truly interested in.

God Hears Himself: Say what God would Say!
By harmony @ 11:00 AM :: 15 Views

You are a tri-part being: you are a spirit being that has a soul, which lives in a body. In this way you were created to reflect the nature and character of God, who is three parts: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. When God created man, he placed him in an environment of absolute innocence. Originally communication between God and man was absolutely clear. In the Garden of Eden, the environment was clear from sin and the perversity of the flesh. This perversity is a twist in everything that is said and done which affects every person’s ability to see and hear correctly. In the Garden of Eden however Adam looked at the Father without this hindrance; Adam related to God like a small child relates to his father: God was his Daddy. Remember Romans chapter eight, verse 15, says,

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”

God Hears Himself: Learn a New Language
By harmony @ 11:06 AM :: 13 Views

Truth has ears. When we are born of the Truth we can accurately hear the Truth. Hearing God’s voice is a communication between two people. You speak with God – and God speaks with you. Truth is hard for some people to hear because they have become accustomed to listening to lies of the enemy. In a manner of speaking, we have to go back to the beginning and learn a new language. Like a baby just being born, we have to learn to hear and mimic the words that our Father speaks to us. When young child first learns to speak, they say only short words like, “Daddy” and “Momma”. They learn to express their needs, such as “I want” etc. We have to learn the same thing, only we must learn the language that God is speaking. It is a language without guile or selfish motives, and at first it may be difficult to understand. When a person first lives in a foreign country, he or she is engulfed in a new environment. At first, the person may understand little if anything of what the people around him or her are saying. Slowly, and with the help of others, they learn to identify words and sounds. The native people speak slowly to them and pronunciate their words clearly. Perhaps, this is how God works with us as well. He takes it slow and teaches us the basics before He jumps into the complicated phrases. Allow the Holy Spirit to renew Your mind and change the way you communicate. Become a child and allow God to teach you His way of communicating. We must give up the language of lies, manipulation, and selfishness, and learn the language of truth, submission, and love.

God Hears Himself: Get Rid of the Noise!
By harmony @ 12:33 PM :: 12 Views

God is God and you are a son of God. The concept you have of yourself must not be based in “self”. Many people speak of “self-esteem” or “self-image”; this is not accurate however. As children of God, we want to base our concept of ourselves on what God has said about us. If a Christian had “self-esteem” or a good “self-image”, then his or her picture would still be based on the opinion of man, and not on God’s Word. Do not decide who you are because of what has happened to you or what people say about you. Do not base your opinion on your accomplishments, nor on your gifts and talents. You are not loved by the King of kings and Lord of lords because you are particularly gifted or talented, nor because you have accomplished more or less than others. You are loved based on God – God is Love and God is the Father; therefore the Father loves His children. You are created in the image of God. You should have “God-image” and “God-esteem”. Then when good or bad opinions come your way, you will be neither flattered, nor disappointed.

God Hears Himself: Unclog Your Ears!
By harmony @ 1:44 PM :: 11 Views

You can only communicate clearly the information you possess, and the information you possess comes to you through the process of perception. Perception is the process by which a person converts different stimuli into information. When God communicates and when God receives information, He does not process what He sees and hears through tainted perception. There are no imperfections in God’s ability to hear, no paradigms through which he perceives His surroundings. God’s ability to communicate is perfect and without flaw.

God in Your Mouth Article Five

Great grace in your mouth gives strength to your confession. The definition of confession is to talk like God. Confession is to agree with what God is saying. God will only enforce what God says. That means God will only bring to pass what God has said. God wants us to affirm the truth in our hearts, in our minds, in our mouths, and in the lives of others.

God in Your Mouth Article Four

   What creates belief? How do people receive belief in order to speak what they know is God’s Word? In order for God’s Word to carry power in our mouths, it must be backed by belief. Hebrews chapter one, verse one, tells us, “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith, which is the Greek word pistos, means absolute confidence and assurance. Therefore, in order for our words, which are invisible, to become a visible reality, we must have absolute confidence and assurance that God’s Word is in our mouths and that God will bring it to pass. We must believe. So, what creates belief? Most people struggle with the fear that what they speak is not truly God. They are concerned that the source is self, and because the words do not find their origin in God, they will not come to pass. We must learn to build our knowledge of God’s Word and God’s ways of doing things so that we can have faith that what we say, God will surely bring to pass.

God in Your Mouth Article Three
By harmony @ 12:20 PM :: 16 Views

God has sworn by His holiness, by His integrity, to bring His covenant Word to pass. God told the people of Israel that He would not break His covenant, nor would He alter the words that had come out of His lips. God is basically saying, “Once I say something, I don’t take it back.” Think about this concept in human terms: if you were a person who, once you had said a thing, you never took it back, this would require that you spent much time thinking about what you were going to say before you said it. Remember that Proverbs chapter 23, verse seven, tells us that as a man thinks in his heart so is he; and Jesus also told his disciples and the Pharisees, “For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). That means that God’s words proceed from the motive of His heart. By His Words we can surmise correctly what His motives are. Again, let’s put this in human terms. If a person on the street heard your conversation, what would they think about your heart? People have nothing to judge you by other than your words. And by your words you will either be justified or condemned.

God in Your Mouth Article Two
By harmony @ 12:00 AM :: 20 Views

All things were created by the Word which God spoke. Remember John chapter One tells us that the Word of God was in the beginning and was the Creator of all things. God’s Word is the creative force. We need to realize that if God had never spoke, creation would have never took place. Genesis chapter one, verse two says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of god was hovering over the face of the waters.” At this point the Word of God had not been released. Darkness was still covering the face of the deep because The Word, which is Life and Light (John 1:4) had not yet been spoken. It is interesting to note, that the Word for “light” in the Hebrew has a numerical value affixed to it: that number is 613, which happens to be the same as the amount of commandments in the Law, which is God’s Word. Basically, the Hebrew draws a picture which directly links the Word of God with Light. Jesus is the Light of the World, he tells his disciples in John chapter eight, verse 12. And, of course, the firs thing which God speaks is, “Let there be Light.” It is as if God is saying, “Let my Word manifest its true nature and illuminate all things.”

God in Your Mouth Article One
By harmony @ 12:00 AM :: 23 Views

There is a popular teaching circulating in charismatic circles today concerning confession. Many are teaching that you will possess what you confess. This is true to a certain extent. God told the Israelites in Numbers chapter eleven, verse 28, that he would bring to pass all that they had spoken in His hearing. We are the prophets of our own life. The reason however that this is true lies in the revelation of God working with God. When we speak the Words of God, God works with those words and those words become flesh in our lives. When we speak the words of Satan, the same thing occurs. Satan works with words of unbelief, bitterness, unforgiveness, and hatred to bring about his demonic destiny, his plan and strategy. It is not necessarily that we may confess anything and that it will come to pass. The truth is when we confess what God has already predestined, then what we have said lines up with God’s will; our words will surely come to pass. This is the principle of God in your mouth.
