| God Hears Himself: Step into God's Culture |
It is only the Spirit of God that can search out the deep things of God. God knows what is of God within you. God promotes what He finds of Himself within His children. God blesses what He finds of Himself within His children. Many people come to me when they are going through difficult circumstances and say, “I just don’t understand why this is happening to me.” My response is almost always the same: Are they doing things God’s way or their own? What is their motive? God cannot promote and bless what is not of God. However, the scripture does not say that He is searching to see what is wrong with His Children. No. God is going to and fro over the face of the earth looking for a heart like God’s. That is, God is looking for God, and when He finds the smallest manifestation of His nature and character, that is what He is truly interested in.

God in Your Mouth Article Two

All things were created by the Word which God spoke. Remember John chapter One tells us that the Word of God was in the beginning and was the Creator of all things. God’s Word is the creative force. We need to realize that if God had never spoke, creation would have never took place. Genesis chapter one, verse two says, “And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of god was hovering over the face of the waters.” At this point the Word of God had not been released. Darkness was still covering the face of the deep because The Word, which is Life and Light (John 1:4) had not yet been spoken. It is interesting to note, that the Word for “light” in the Hebrew has a numerical value affixed to it: that number is 613, which happens to be the same as the amount of commandments in the Law, which is God’s Word. Basically, the Hebrew draws a picture which directly links the Word of God with Light. Jesus is the Light of the World, he tells his disciples in John chapter eight, verse 12. And, of course, the firs thing which God speaks is, “Let there be Light.” It is as if God is saying, “Let my Word manifest its true nature and illuminate all things.”
After this first verbal command from the Father, each group of living organisms was created by the spoken Word. God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” As God spoke, the created things appeared, and God said that each thing that He spoke into existence was good. The fruit of God’s spoken will always be good. It will be in perfect agreement with God and will manifest the nature of God. God’s Word always produces God’s results.
The truth is that God possesses what He confesses! His Word has never failed to accomplish its purpose. God names it and claims it! God’s motives are never selfish or twisted. His motive is always love. When love speaks, love’s words are a potent force to dominate and alter every person they come in contact with. Love’s will cannot be permanently hindered or stopped. When you speak God’s Words, and you are confident that your motive is the same as God’s, you can be sure that God will work with His Word and that it will produce great fruit in your life. |
